Associate an icon with a exe using a resource file

Occasionally you may have a exe which does not contain a form and want to have an icon embeded in it. To do this add a resource file (use the Add-in manager to load "VB 6 Resource editor"). Next click "Add icon" in the resource editor and browse to an icon and click "Open". Now right click the resource and select "Properties" and rename the icon to "1". The icon named "1" will be the icon displayed in explorer in the compiled exe.
